We are a high-quality local, interstate, and international household goods moving company. Our customers hire us because of our reputation for providing outstanding service with outstanding people. When someone lives in a 4,000+ square foot house and has a $20,000 dining room set, they are more interested in hiring the best company than the one with the cheapest price. This allows us to charge adequately, pay you adequately, and work in some really nice homes.

Before going any further, there are a few requirements to work here:

YOU MUST BE DRUG FREE

Our company is a drug free workplace. Please DO NOT apply unless you are drug free and will remain drug free. You must pass a pre-employment drug test now and random drug testing in the future.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE & PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION

This means you must have a current driver’s license (not just an I.D.) without a large number of significant infractions (a CDL license is not required) and you must have your own personal vehicle and cell phone. When we hire a new employee, we are looking for someone that we think can ultimately become a team leader. That’s pretty unlikely if they don’t have a license or a way to communicate when needed.

YOU WILL NEED TO CONSENT TO A PRE-EMPLOYMENT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK

As you might imagine, if you have a history of theft, larceny, B&E, forgery or other “trust” related crimes we cannot send you into our customers’ homes to pack and move them. Also, any crimes related to weapons or physical violence against another person are problematic.

YOU MUST APPLY IN PERSON

A resume or phone call won’t tell us everything we need to know. We are looking for strong, physically fit, presentable individuals with a professional appearance; that doesn’t mean that if you have a piercing or ink it is necessarily a problem; it’s more about your attitude and how you carry yourself. However, if you have something offensive tattooed where our customers will see it, that’s not going to fly.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY & SOMETIME SUNDAY

We do moves seven days a week. This does not necessarily mean that you will work all six days but the opportunity will arise. We also do some interstate work where crews are out for several nights moving people to and from other states, and occasionally we may have some Sunday jobs.

Please understand that this is extremely physically demanding work. You must be in exceptional physical condition for this position. We work in 100+ degree heat, moving heavy furniture and boxes all day long up and down stairs while our customers are often paying us by the hour. You need to be determined, in great shape, and able to push through the pain (especially at first, until you get used to the work) to do this job. That being said, our guys do this work while joking and having fun with each other (when appropriate). The mood is light and no one takes themselves too seriously, but we are serious about doing a great job.

This is for picture identification purposes, when you go into a customers house and they need to see who you are.
