If one of these service providers has a bad day or is a little off, there is a possibility you MAY give them another chance. Why not, right? It’s a steak that was a little over or a spot that was missed on your triple black Corvette. However, when it comes to house movers, how many chances are they going to get to “get it right”?
Well, with HD Auston, they are only going to need ONE chance, and if you choose to move again, you ARE going to give them ANOTHER call! After 20 years, we decided to move and because of the great reviews on Nextdoor and the fact that they have been in business since 1945, I decided to HD Auston a call. I am so glad I did. From the moment I got on the phone with Hardy, my mind was put at ease. He sent out a person to evaluate the home, the items being moved, and to cover the logistics to move them. He remained in contact right up until we closed to confirm the move and assured me that it would be no problem if we had to change the date. When the day came, 5 men showed up with one 26 foot long truck, and EVERY SINGLE thing we wanted moved was MASTERFULLY removed from our home and CAREFULLY placed on the truck. 20 years worth of “stuff”…1 truck…1 trip, not a single broken item…NOT ONE! The movers were prompt, professional, respectful to our home, our belongings, and my family. It truly was a pleasure meeting every single one of them.
I called Hardy when we got settled later that day and he picked up his phone, after hours, and I HAD to thank him because the service was so outstanding. I told him that I hope I never have to use them again…ONLY because I don’t plan on moving again…BUT if I do, I sure hope they are still in business providing the service that they do, because I struck gold with my first call to HD Auston.
